FOREST, a new installation by Debbie Long at the CCA’s spector ripps project space, is a forest of freestanding cast-wax “trees” made from stacks of massive tree stumps, car parts, and other detritus the artist finds near her home in northern New Mexico. Part of the installation Forest will be created on site at CCA.
